Legal marketing jobs are different from legal marketing careers. A career is something you care passionately about, you take it personally (it’s never just business!) and you proactively manage your career to keep yourself fresh in the marketplace and challenged within your firm and industry.

Managing your career in a deliberate and proactive fashion is something that is done from day one and should always be at the back of your mind; no matter how junior or senior your role. And knowing what market trends, pressures and nuances are happening around you right now (and what’s likely to happen in the future) always should form a part of your thinking. What does the current market mean for your role and firm? What do you do well and what do you enjoy doing the most? How will you identify and address any skills gaps?

This panel will aim to address what market changes and trends could mean for your legal marketing career and future and how to thrive in your current role and take it to the next level. The panelists will also address your personal brand and how to achieve and build on success by showcasing your brand within your firm.

She began her professional services career in the accounting world, where she worked in industry as a Sarbanes-Oxley auditor. It was there that she found her passion for marketing.
