Playing The Relationship Game in Today’s Connected World

For relationship-based businesses like law firms, the connections that firms make with their clients – and the connections these clients have with each other – have a profound effect on the amount of ongoing business and new opportunities they’ll win. Throw in the internet, and specifically social media, and the influence that current clients hold over your business grows exponentially. Thanks to the ever-connected world we live in, it is now essential that law firms align their marketing and business development efforts along what we like to call The Relationship Cycle.

In this session, we’ll discuss what this looks like from an interactive marketing perspective. We’ll provide both in and out of industry examples of how businesses are reaching their clients at every point in their decision-making experience, establishing trust and creating advocates that help drive new business opportunities with current and prospective clients – as well as the tools they’re using to do so.

Drawing inspiration from the session title, and because we like to keep things interactive, session attendees will have the opportunity to play The Relationship Game. Throughout the session, a handful of lucky contestants from the audience will participate game-show style to help us identify key interactive trends and reveal best practices for building digital relationships.

Attendees can expect to take away the following from this session:

  • Discover a new framework for relationship development, one in which your marketing goals line up with each stage of your client’s decision-making experience.
  • Learn how to turn your clients into your best marketing asset.
  • Gain a pulse on how clients would like, and expect, to interact with your firm, including the most appropriate channels and frequency of communications.
  • Explore ways to customize your content delivery to help generate more value and extend your reach.
