Digital Disasters:  Lessons Learned
Tuesday, May 15, 2012

Social media, websites and other online marketing tools are increasingly utilized in law firm marketing and business development.  Inevitably, these innovative campaigns have resulted in a few notable digital disasters, each presenting a lesson to be learned.  A panel of experienced legal marketing professionals will discuss the trials and tribulations of various internal and external online projects, including real-life issues they’ve faced in their careers, and how they were able to successfully navigate these disasters and come out with tools to avoid future mishaps.
Some of the topics to be covered include:

  • Necessary planning to get your processes in place in order to avoid the pitfalls of various online projects, including internal programs such as CRM systems.
  • War stories: First-hand accounts of recovering from digital disasters.
  • Interplay between Marketing and IT: Integrating with your IT department to avoid a digital disaster and learning what solutions your IT department can provide when you're in the midst of one.
