Adrian Dayton is an evangelist of social media for the legal profession. Starting in 2009 with the publication of his first book Social Media for Lawyers: Twitter Edition (ARG Group) he asked the question, can lawyers use social media to build high value relationships and make it rain?

Over the two years since his first book was written, Adrian has had a chance to test and prove that hypothesis working with some of the largest and most well respected law firms in the United States. He has worked on strategic planning and long term implementation with Global 100 law firms, mid-sized firms in the AmLaw 250 as well as firms across Australia.

In working with pilot groups, Adrian has developed a 6-12 month coaching and training programs that help lawyers identify, quality and engage new prospects with the help of social media. Through this process he has facilitated in the design and launch of dozens of law blogs and helped hundreds of lawyers build strategic social media profiles.

He has a passion for writing and is currently a weekly columnist for the National Law Journal and monthly writer for Technolawyer’s BigLaw Newsletter. His latest book is Social Media for Lawyers: LinkedIn, Blogs and Website 2.0. You can follow him on Twitter @adriandayton.

Jacqueline Madarang is the Marketing Technology Manager at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, a 450-attorney law firm with seven offices across the Southeast where she focuses on developing digital and communications programs that further business development objectives. She oversees and manages all aspects of the firm’s digital marketing including its website, blogs, social media programs, client relationship management database (CRM), and email marketing.

Prior to moving to Birmingham from California and working at Bradley Arant, she has worked in marketing roles at both law firms and wealth/investment management firms, including Best Best & Krieger, Venable, and Northern Trust.

Jacqueline is an active member of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA), and has been a committee member of the LMA Technology Conference West committee and International LMA Technology committee in the past few years.
